The History and Passion of Pier Eugenio Perone
A Journey in Engines, From Youth to a Recognised Expert
Pier Eugenio Perone was born in Pavia in 1956 and inherited a passion for cars from an early age, thanks to the influence of his father, a FIAT executive. After graduating in Humanities and attending the University of Pisa, he started working in the automotive industry in 1977. In 1997, he joined the Italian Association of Art and Antiques Experts, now the European Association, specialising in classic cars and motorbikes, with a particular focus on Classic Porsches. Since the 1990s, he has travelled extensively in Europe to deepen his expertise in the field of historic cars. He speaks English, French and Spanish fluently, thus expanding his network of professional contacts internationally. He has also been a member of the Collegio Periti Italiani since 2019 at which he has attended numerous professional development courses.
